2. Hosting and Server Log Files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany (hereinafter "IONOS"). Data processing in the context of hosting is carried out on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The servers are located in data centres within the European Union.

Every time the website is accessed, the server automatically records information that the browser transmits (so-called server log files):

Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest) to ensure smooth operation, improve stability and security, and to defend against attacks; in addition, the log files are used for the statistical evaluation described in section 6. Server log files at IONOS are typically deleted automatically after no more than 8 weeks, unless they are required for the investigation of specific security incidents.

Further information on data protection at IONOS: https://www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/terms-privacy.

3. Contact

If you contact me by email or phone, your information (name, email address, phone number and the content of your message) will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (initiation of a contractual relationship) or Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient processing). The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for the intended purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply. Providing your data is neither legally nor contractually required; however, your inquiry cannot be processed without it.

Email correspondence is handled via Google Workspace provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, on the basis of a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Processing on servers in the USA cannot be ruled out; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition (Art. 45, 46 GDPR).

4. Locally Hosted Fonts

This website uses the "Noto Sans" font. The font files are served exclusively from our own server and are not loaded from external sources (such as Google Fonts). Therefore, no IP address or other personal data is transmitted to Google or any other third party when you visit the site.

The legal basis for the integration is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in a consistent and privacy-friendly presentation of the website).

5. Cookies

This website does not use cookies or comparable technologies for analytics, tracking or marketing purposes. Technically non-essential browser storage is also not used. Therefore, no consent is required.

6. Audience Measurement (IONOS WebAnalytics)

The server log files described in section 2 are statistically evaluated in aggregated form by IONOS using the "Visitor Statistics" feature (IONOS WebAnalytics). This covers pages visited, referrer, browser (type and version), operating system, device type and time of access. The IP address is anonymized immediately after transmission and used only for coarse geolocation (country/region); the data cannot be linked to an individual.

No cookies are set, no JavaScript is executed and no connections to external servers are established; consent is therefore not required. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in audience measurement and in improving the website); the right to object described in section 8 applies. The data is stored for a maximum of 8 weeks; processing is carried out by IONOS as a processor as described in section 2.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

To exercise these rights, an informal message is sufficient: ab@abeck-advisory.com.

8. Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR)

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). If you object, the data concerned will no longer be processed unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. An informal message is sufficient: ab@abeck-advisory.com.

9. Right to Complain to a Supervisory Authority

Without prejudice to other legal remedies, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority for the Bad Homburg location is:
